The first edition of ACCESART - Workshops and Performance Festival was organized with the support of Timisoara Municipality, Timisoara Local Council and Papillon Cafe. The festival took place between 20-22 June in Unirii Square, Regimentul 5 Vânători Street (next to Papillon Cafe).
ACCESART was in fact a weekend sacred to the Arts and included interractive workshops such as: clay figuring, painting, engraving, caricature and portrait, marker-art, ceramic jewelry, architecture, juggle and art performances. The workshops have been coordinated by young artists and the acces to all the activities was free, regardless of age and qualification.

A suprise event was the architecture workshop organized by three students from the Architecture Faculty - Ioana Iordan, Simona Mesaroşi and Flavia Pau, which designed the Papillon Cafe’s terrace, stating that:
"We don’t pass by Papi, we stay in! In Papi we don’t watch football, we watch movies! In Papi there are no argues .... but polemics! And because this happens in any cultural environment, we believe that Papi deserves a facade that limits the terrace, but doesn’t limit the visions of young artists."(Ioana, Simona and Flavia). The second day was mainly dedicated to a special event, the engraving workshop, coordinated by Remus Rotaru and having as participants 16 students from the Art Faculty. The event has been dedicated to the cause "SUSTAIN THIS DESTINY", joining everybody that can contribute to saving the life of Emil Moldovan.

ACCESART was a success for us but also for Timisoara because we managed to create a bohemian atmosphere in the city center, the atmosphere of a truly european city from the artistic and cultural point of view.
