LOCAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH ECONOMIC AND TOURISTIC CROSS-BORDER MOBILITY
Project financed by the European Union through PHARE CBC Romania-Serbia Programme AIM
Increasing local economic development of Dubova and Kikinda areas by attracting tourists and investors – at cross-border level – by using integrated services for informing, training, and consulting, with the aim to ensure the running of the touristic and economic capacity of the two areas.
OBJECTIVES - Direct promotion of touristical and economical capacity of the two areas by organizing Fairs, which will present the business opportunities and touristical offers of the two areas.
- Human resources specialization having as result SMEs and travel agencies capable to elaborate development strategies, cooperation and cross-border marketing using the internet. TARGET GROUPS The local public administration of Dubova and Kikinda, actors and promoters of touristic activities in the two areas (SMEs, travel agencies, NGOs etc.), representatives of companies who want to invest in those places.
ACTIVITIES
A. Information
A.1 To make an inventory and create a system for promoting and updating in real time the touristic and economic offer in the two areas – through a web portal A.2 To promote the two areas by organizing Fairs for Touristic and Economic Promotion in Dubova and Kikinda - Dubova Touristic and Economics Promotion Fair (12 - 13 June 2009).

B.1 For touristic services tendered - Public Relations (7 - 10 May 2009). - Cross - border Marketing Tools(14 - 17 May 2009). B.2 For economic agencies who want to invest in the area of the neighbouring country - Import – export Legislation and Joint Companies(19 – 22 March 2009). - Cross – border Business Strategy Development (2 – 5 April 2009). - Electronic Business and Marketing using IT/Internet tools(23 – 26 April 2009). BENEFICIARIES
Direct:
